The annual Portland International
Auto Show is a big event, drawing thousands of people in attendance over the
course of the event. The auto show features the Eco Center, where consumers can
learn about the newest initiatives in green technology, the Great Outdoors
area, where vehicles are showcased with the best of outdoor gear and the
Healthy Life Garage, which offers information about living healthier and more. Performance Mobility is proud to
take their place beside some of the most innovative companies in the industry.
Performance Mobility will be at the annual Portland International Auto Show for the duration – all four days. The show starts on Thursday, January 26, and runs through Sunday, January 29. Thursday through Saturday, the hours are 10 am until 10 pm. On Sunday, visitors can access the auto show from 10 am until 7 pm. Directions and more information can be found at the Portland International Auto Show’s website.
Performance Mobility invites everyone to come down and visit them at the auto show – The staff will be in Lobby Spaces 5 and 6, and have some of the newest options in handicap vans and mobility technology on hand for visitors to see, touch, feel and experience. There will be a 2011 Honda Odyssey from Vantage Mobility International, on hand. Also being featured is a 2011 Toyota Sienna and a Chrysler Town and Country with the BraunAbility conversion. This is where visitors can get hands on with mobility technology like wheelchair ramps, wheelchair lifts, the innovative power-kneeling system, hand controls and more. Of course, the new GoShichi wheelchair accessible pickup truck will also be on hand.
The Portland International Auto Show also offers quite a bit more. There will be a $50,000 golf putting contest for those who enjoy hitting the links, and there is also a wine tasting to be held on site. For the little ones, the Kid Zone offers face painting, Radio Disney fun, Power Wheels vehicles and a lot more so they’ll be happy and occupied through the entire event.
